Sherry got her start as a magician's assistant in the early 1980s, then progressed to demonstrating and selling magic tricks to magicians and the general public.
She worked at such places as:

Brad Reeders Comedy Magic Bash
Magic Masters
Then she started to pursue magic on her own. She studied, practiced, attended magic lectures and conventions. She also took Jeff Justice's Comedy Workshoppe, graduating onstage at the Punchline Comedy Club in Atlanta.

The Society of American Magicians (SAM)
The Southeastern Association of Magicians (SEAM)
The Georgia Magic Club (GMC)
She began performing, for clients such as:
